What is Aged Care?

As we age, we may begin to need support for everyday activities such as cooking, cleaning and shopping.

This is when ‘aged care’ will begin to take an impact on your life. Aged care is simply a term used to describe daily living and nursing services that help us from day to day. At Live Life Care, we can provide you and your loved ones with a range of aged care services, directly at the safety and comfort of your home. Our care services are specially tailored around your exact needs and preferences, designed to provide you with support and keep you in the comfort of your home as long as possible.

How do I know if
I need Aged Care?

Knowing when you are in need of care is extremely important as you grow older. Getting the right support and care for you, or a family member is crucial in maintaining good health and living standards. With age, our ability to look after and care for ourselves can deteriorate over time and it can get to a point in which in home care may provide the additional assistance you need to continue living independently.

At Live Life Care, we can help you to determine whether or not you may be in need of care. Here are some of the signs you can look out for:

  • Difficulty cooking or cleaning for yourself
  • Difficulty moving around your home or walking up and down stairs
  • Pain in your joints and back that make carrying out tasks more difficult
  • Significant or sudden changes in memory and the ability to remember tasks

If you have shown any or multiple of the above signs, then it may be the right time to look into getting some assistance with in home care. It is important to understand that receiving care does not mean that someone is there with you at all hours of the day. Our services will provide you with help and support when you are in need of it. Aim our is to help our clients with a range of activities that they may need additional support with, and empower them to live a largely independant life.
